Completing a piece for youth choir and rhythm section addressing the cultural juxtaposition of many cultures in a troubled neighborhoods in Jacksonville, Florida, combing poetry, melody, urban and world rhythms.

Leonard Bernstein Festival Carnegie Hall, Featured Composer
As part of the Leonard Bernstein Festival sponsored byCarnegie Hall, songs were composed with school choirs from the Frank Sinatra School in Queens, and the Songs of Solomon after school music program in Harlem. The songs were then performed as part of the Leonard Bernstein Festival in 2009 at Carnegie Hall.
